Body found

An unidentified male body was found lying at HP Petrol Pump, 11th Mile, Khanapara, Ri-Bhoi, on November 16 at 10 am. After inquest, the body was shifted to Morgue Room of Civil Hospital Nongpoh for post-mortem examination and for identification of the dead body. The Superintendent of Police of Ri-Bhoi said that the man’s body is 5 feet tall, aged 50-60 years, dark-complexioned and has a thin build. He was found wearing a grey track pant, and a multi-colour sweatshirt.

Office shifted

The office of the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Pynursla Civil Sub-Division, will be shifted from the old premises, the building of the PWD (Roads), Pynursla, to the new office building of the Mini Secretariat, Pynursla, located at Phlangdkhi, Pynursla, from November 19, a statement issued here informed.

E-vehicle subsidy

The Transport department has launched the Meghalaya Electric Vehicle Subsidy Portal (www.megtransport.gov.in) for disbursement of subsidies to owners of electric vehicles registered all over the state as per the Meghalaya Electric Vehicle Policy, 2021, a statement issued here informed. The department has urged all electric vehicle owners to register at the prescribed portal within three months from the date of its launch to avail benefits.
