SHILLONG, Nov 24: Winter has finally set in Shillong and other part of the state with minimum temperature dipping to 8 degree Celsius.
On Thursday, Shillong recorded a minimum temperate of 8.5 degrees while the maximum temperature was 18.8 degrees.
Officials from Meteorological Centre, Shillong said that the temperature will go up after 2-3 days and dip again after a week. Shillong will witness its peak winter season around mid-January.
