In the first clash, Madanriting crushed Thynroit CC by a staggering 158 runs, riding on a blistering batting exhibition. They piled up 235/5 in 20 overs, thanks to a series of explosive contributions. Joydip Shill’s fluent 45, Kitnik Lyndem’s quick 31, and Digbijay Roy’s whirlwind 50 laid the platform, before Andy Kharkongor stole the show with a majestic 71 off 51 balls, studded with 12 fours and five sixes.
Kishan Das also played a fiery cameo with 24 off just 22 deliveries, while extras proved costly for Thynroit, adding up to 26.Thynroit CC, in response, never looked in the contest. They crumbled for 77 all out in 15.1 overs, unable to withstand Madanriting’s disciplined bowling.
Ialam Dame Shadap was the wrecker-in-chief with a four-wicket burst, while Arbor Wankhar and Kishan Das chipped in with two wickets each. Only Stephan Kharmyndai (9) and Wushen Rani (11) showed brief resistance as Madanriting sealed one of the season’s biggest margins of victory.
In another one-sided encounter, Lagan 2.0 hammered Royal Challenger CC by 101 runs, powered by superb batting depth and ruthless bowling.
Lagan 2.0 posted a commanding 170/5, led by a composed 41 from Aditya, a sharp 37 by Shailang Lyngdoh, and a late assault from Subhash Kumar, whose unbeaten 34 off 18 balls powered the finishing charge. Rohit Kumar Rai also played a brisk hand with 23 off 16 balls, helping his side set a challenging total.
Royal Challenger CC faltered from the outset, folding for 69 in 16.2 overs as Lagan’s bowlers ripped through the lineup. Rohit Kumar Rai and Santosh scalped three wickets each, while Rohit Roi and Aditya picked up two apiece, maintaining relentless pressure throughout. Only Mandari Dkhar (19) offered any real resistance, but it was far from enough to avoid a heavy defeat.
