New Delhi, Nov 2: The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has launched “NPS Quest – Chase Your Future”, a nationwide initiative focused on promoting financial literacy and retirement planning, particularly targeting India’s North Eastern states.
The campaign aims to educate citizens about the importance of financial independence and the benefits of the National Pension System (NPS).
All Indian citizens from the North East are eligible to participate, and no entry fee is required, making the initiative widely accessible.
The competition encourages participants, including individuals and companies, to creatively express ideas through formats such as Reels, Posters, AI Videos, and Calculators. Submissions are expected to align with the campaign’s theme #NPSZaruriHai, emphasizing early financial planning and the security that NPS provides.
Key participation themes include: Every Profession, One Pension; Start Early: Power of Compounding – Secure Your Retirement; Retirement Planning, Dignity, and Financial Independence; and Financial Literacy – NPS Vatsalya.
The contest features multiple prize categories. For Best Influencer Reel and Best AI Video, first, second, and third prizes are Rs 50,000, Rs 25,000, and Rs 15,000 respectively.
For Best Creative (Poster/Graphic/Artwork), winners will receive Rs 25,000, Rs 12,000, and Rs 5,000.
A special Hornbill Festival edition offers Rs 25,000 for Influencer Reels and AI Videos, and Rs 10,000 for creative entries. Each category requires at least 10 entries to be valid.
PFRDA highlighted that the contest combines creativity with financial education, targeting younger generations to encourage early investment in NPS and long-term retirement security.
Participants can register and submit entries via QR code on official campaign materials.
The deadline for submissions is December 5, 2025, and winners will be announced on December 10, 2025, during the Hornbill Festival in Kohima, Nagaland, with felicitations by senior officials.
This initiative reflects PFRDA’s ongoing commitment to enhancing awareness of retirement planning, encouraging financial literacy, and promoting the National Pension System across India, particularly in regions with lower awareness of structured retirement options.
By engaging citizens creatively, the program aims to make retirement planning accessible, relatable, and integral to financial security. (Sponsored)
