Injured NEHU student discharged from hospital

Shillong, Dec 9: In a positive development, Stephanie Shadap, one of the two NEHU students who sustained severe injuries after being hit by a speeding Maruti vehicle near NEHU Gate-II on November 17, was discharged from Nazareth Hospital on Tuesday.
Hospital sources informed that the second student, Daritngen Ponduhkhei, is also recovering well and is expected to be discharged on Wednesday.
Family members expressed gratitude to the government for extending footing the medical bill of the two students.
