Appointment
The services of Abhinav Kumar Singh, Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills, has been partially placed at the disposal of District Council Affairs department for appointment as Principal Secretary, Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC), in addition to his own duties with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders, a notice informed.
Cleaning drive
Dorbar Dong Demseiniong will conduct an annual cleaning drive on December 22 from 8 am onwards. All shops and business establishments within the jurisdiction of Dorbar Dong have been asked to remain closed till 1 pm.
