Shillong doctor wins best paper award at Hyderabad event

SHILLONG, Jan 31: Shillong Medical College Assistant Professor Dr Humsheer Sethi has brought national recognition to Meghalaya after winning a top academic honour at a major radiology conference.
Dr Sethi of the Department of Radiology was conferred the prestigious Dr GR Jankharia Best Paper Award at the National Radiology Conference held on January 29 at HITEC City, Hyderabad.
The award was presented during the national conference, which brought together radiology professionals and academicians from across the country.
Officials said the recognition reflects the steady improvement in academic and research standards at Shillong Medical College and strengthens Meghalaya’s standing in the field of medical education and healthcare.
Shillong Medical College has congratulated Dr Sethi on the achievement, acknowledging his contribution to the institution’s academic reputation.
