Sharda University’s festival ends with power-packed performances

GREATER NOIDA, Feb 15: The three-day annual cultural fest Chorus 2K26 at Sharda University concluded on a high note with an electrifying live performance by Punjabi pop sensation Sunanda Sharma.
Held under the theme “Festival of Dreams and Diversity,” the event brought together students from across India and abroad to celebrate music, art, and culture. Nearly 60 teams from various universities participated in more than 20 competitions, including debates, fashion shows, rap battles, mono acts, comedy performances, open-mic sessions, and group dances.
The festival featured high-energy performances by renowned composer duo Salim–Sulaiman, DJ Ravator, and singer Aditi Sharma. The grand finale saw Sunanda Sharma enthrall the crowd with hit numbers such as “Jani Tera Na,” “Mummy Nu Pasand,” “Sandal,” and “Morni,” as the audience danced and recorded the performances.
A key highlight was the Global Village showcase, where students from over 28 countries and several Indian states presented traditional cuisines and cultural displays, reflecting the university’s international diversity. Diplomats from multiple nations were also in attendance.
Dr. Ajit Kumar, Director of Public Relations, said the festival aimed to integrate cultural diversity from across India and the world on a single platform. The event witnessed participation from over 70 dignitaries, faculty members, and students.
Chancellor P.K. Gupta emphasized that such events encourage collaboration, creativity, and leadership among students. Pro-Chancellor Y.K. Gupta distributed awards to competition winners during the closing ceremony.
Chorus 2K26 reaffirmed Sharda University’s commitment to fostering global exposure, cultural exchange, and holistic development beyond the classroom. (Sponsored)
