Mawkyrwat, Feb 17: Rangmaw Sports Club retained their Super Division District Cricket League title, clinching the 2025-26 crown with a commanding seven-wicket win over Rangthong CSA on Tuesday.
The eighth edition final, organised by the South West Khasi Hills District Cricket Association (SWKHDCA), was held at Madan Motmeron ground in Jakrem village. Rangthong, after electing to bat, were bowled out for 88 in 27 overs.
Rangmaw chased down the 89-run target comfortably in 15 overs, losing four wickets to seal back-to-back titles.
Rishotskhem Lyngdoh was named Man of the Match for his four-wicket haul. Bankyrshan Lyngdoh (241 runs, 7 wickets) was adjudged Man of the Tournament, while Marken Kharkongor of Domjyrti SC finished as the highest run-scorer with 241 runs.
