TURA, Feb 17: The Garo National Council (GNC) on Tuesday released the first list of candidates who will contest the upcoming GHADC elections.
The list includes Augustine R Marak for Silkigre, Nikman Ch Marak for Rongrikimgee, Jakrak A Sangma for Amomgpara, Deson Marak for Dengnakpara, Geobar B Marak for Asanang, Sengba D Sangma for Rongrong and Chibasal Lampard R Marak for Williamnagar constituencies.
The MDC elections are scheduled for April 10, and the results will be announced on April 14.
