Shillong, March 3: Friends United secured a comfortable eight-wicket victory over Sohra Combine in Match 21 of the 5th District League T20 Cricket Tournament 2026, organised by the East Khasi Hills Cricket Association.
After winning the toss and opting to bowl, Friends United restricted Sohra Combine to 100/8 in 20 overs. Jona Lyngdoh Nonglait top-scored with a brisk 49 off 28 balls, while Precious Nongrud delivered a standout spell of 3/18 in his four overs.In reply, Friends United chased down the target with ease, reaching 101/2 in 16.2 overs. E Nathan A Diengdoh anchored the innings with 53 off 52 deliveries.
