Late PA Sangma T20 Trophy 2026

Shillong, March 11: United XI secured a comforatable 5 wickets win over Lawsohtun CC in the Late P.A. Sangma Memorial T20 Trophy 2026, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, on Wedenesday.
Batting first after winning the toss, Lawsohtun managed to get 110/8 in 18 overs. Aaron Lamare top scored with 27 off 27 balls, while Manchester Pathaw added 26 from 35 deliveries. For United XI, skipper Bijon Dey took 2 for 13 and Navin Kumar Ray accounted for another two wickets while giving away 24 runs.
Chasing a tricky target, United XI got off to a blistering start with Ganeshstar Syiem scoring 39 runs in just 18 balls. Yogesh Tiwari scored a steady 35 in 45 balls that helped United score 114/5 in 17.4 overs. For Lawsohtun, Deibormi Rngad (2/18) returned with the best figures, while Greatestful Lyngkhoi picked up 2 for 32.
Navin was named Player of the Match.
In second match of the day, Mawsyiem CC and Sporting CC shared a point each after rain played spoilsport. Before that Mawsyiem had chosen to bat first and were struggling at 71/6 in 17.3 overs before the umpires called for covers and stopped the game.
For Mawsyiem, Banphira Basaiawmoit (15 runs in 21 balls) and Wanaibok Basaiawmoit (15 runs in 25 balls) were top scorers, while Laxman Gurung (2/5) and Banialam Mylliemngap (2/13) shone with the ball for Sporting.
