Shillong, March 24: Royal CC registered a comfortable six-wicket win over Winds CC in the Late P.A. Sangma Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament 2026, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association.
Winds CC, after opting to bat, posted 129/8 in 20 overs, with Aditya Mahala top-scoring with an unbeaten 67. Reshabh Dipak starred with the ball, claiming 3/16.
In reply, Royal CC chased down the target in just 11.4 overs, powered by Raj Biswa’s quickfire 57 and Pringaang Sangma’s 32. Dipak was named Player of the Match for his all-round effort.
In another match, Rhinoland Cricket Academy defeated Sputnik Spartans by 40 runs via the DLS method. Rhinoland scored 188/8, led by Arun Sonar (47) and Sumit Kashyap (39). Chasing a revised target of 161 in 16 overs, Sputnik Spartans were restricted to 120/7 despite Dilwar Khan’s 49. Tapan Kumar Sharma’s four-wicket haul earned him the Player of the Match award.
