Filmmaker Aditya Dhar dismissed circulating images of Ranveer Singh smoking while wearing a turban in Dhurandhar 2 as fabricated and created with AI.
He stressed the film treats the Sikh community with respect and urged audiences to rely on official material.
The clarification follows objections from a Sikh organisation.
Released on March 19, the film has already earned over Rs 900 crore worldwide, continuing the success of the espionage saga. (PTI)
