12-year-old boy among 3 killed in UP road mishap

Bahraich (UP), March 29: Three persons, including a 12-year-old boy, were killed on Sunday evening when a pick-up vehicle collided head-on with the bike they were riding, police said.
Circle Officer Pahup Singh told PTI that the pick-up vehicle was transporting wedding supplies from Hujoorpur to Rupaidiha in Bahraich district when its tyre burst near Hada Basehri village around 8 pm.
As a result, the vehicle lost control, hit the motorcycle head-on and overturned.
The three people riding the bike were trapped beneath the pick-up vehicle. They were rushed to a nearby government hospital, where doctors pronounced all three dead.
The deceased have been identified as Shiva (12), Manish Kumar (35) and Barsati (45), the circle officer said.
A relative of the deceased told reporters that the victims were related to each other. (PTI)
