Paul McCartney recently kicked off a two-night, intimate run at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre, performing 23 hits spanning his six-decade career, including iconic Beatles classics like Hey Jude, Let It Be, Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, and Help. Addressing the crowd, McCartney, 83, nostalgically recalled his first trip to the USA and the venue’s history as the Hollywood Music Box Theatre, emphasizing the charm of small, personal gigs compared to his usual stadium shows. The shows highlighted his timeless catalogue, delighting both longtime fans and younger audiences attending the intimate performances. (IANS)
