Nepal reshuffles Balen-led cabinet ministers

KATHMANDU, April 7: Nepal President Ram Chandra Paudel reshuffled the ranking of ministers in Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s cabinet on Tuesday, following the PM’s recommendation.
Shah remains first, with Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle second. Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal rose to third, Energy Minister Biraj Bhakta Shrestha to fourth, while Home Minister Sudan Gurung dropped to fifth and Physical Infrastructure Minister Sunil Lamsal to sixth.
Law and Justice Minister Sobita Gautam climbed to seventh, and Women, Children, and Senior Citizens Minister Sita Wadi to eighth. Ministers of federal affairs, health, education, tourism, communication, agriculture, and labour now occupy positions nine through fifteen. The cabinet took oath on March 27. (PTI)
