Allu Arjun’s first look of Raaka with Atlee unveiled
On superstar Allu Arjun’s 44th birthday on Wednesday, the makers of his next, which was tentatively titled as #AA22xA6, revealed that the film has been christened Raaka and even shared the first look of the actor from the upcoming movie. Production banner Sun Pictures, along with Arjun and director Atlee, took to Instagram in a collaborative post to unveil the first look and the title of the upcoming film, which also stars Deepika Padukone. The first look featured an intense close-up of a bald Arjun’s rugged face. His face is partially hidden by a wolf like claw. In the image, the star’s one eye is sharply in focus, staring forward with a predatory intensity. The entire picture adds a primal, warrior-like aesthetic. The film is the first collaboration between Arjun and Deepika. (IANS)
One Piece S3 to feature Battle of Alabasta arc, stream in 2027
The streaming giant Netflix has announced the third season of the live-action series of One Piece, which will focus on the “Battle of Alabasta” arc of the anime. The third instalment of the adventure series, a live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s beloved manga franchise, will be called One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta. It’s due in 2027 and will follow Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat crew as they venture into the desert kingdom of Alabasta, the homeland of Princess Vivi. The series is set to stream in 2027. The fan-favourite streaming series Bridgerton has added three new cast members. The Shonda Rhimes-produced period drama’s upcoming 5th season, which will center around the love story of Francesca Bridgerton (played by Hannah Dodd) and Michaela Stirling (played by Masali Baduza), including the role of Lord Marcus Anderson’s (played by Daniel Francis) adult son. Bridgerton season 5 centres on the introverted middle daughter Francesca. Two years after losing her beloved husband John, Fran decides to reenter the marriage market for practical reasons. (IANS)
