Bethany Society will inaugurate the Experience Centre and Recreation Centre for Children with Disabilities, established with the support of North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), Shillong, at its premises in Laitumkhrah, Shillong, at 2 PM. East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner RM Kurbah will inaugurate the centre.
The Shillong Polytechnic will celebrate its Diamond Jubilee marking 60 years of dedicated service in technical education at the Shillong Polytechnic Auditorium, Mawlai, at 3 PM. Commissioner and Secretary, Department of Education, Vijay Kumar Mantri, will be the chief guest of the occasion while Director of Higher and Technical Education, HDB Sangma, will sever as the guest of honour.
