B K Bajoria beat Little Angel in inter-school tourney

SHILLONG, April 22: B K Bajoria School beat Little Angel School by 32 run in the Inter-School Under-18 Cricket Tournament organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, at MCA Polo ground here on Wednesday.
Sent in to bat first, B K Bajoria School scored 126/2 in a match that was curtailed to 11 overs. Opener Vedhanth Vadera led the batting with a 31 off 28 deliveries, getting run out in the very last ball of the innings. Pankaj Lodh scored a quick fire a steady 27 off 18 balls. Rizwan (1/19 in 2 overs) was the pick of the bowlers for Little Angel.
Chasing a tough target, Little Angel School managed to score 94/4 in their 11 overs. Rehan Qureshi top scored with 21 off 16 balls. Shanti Dhoj Sunar starred with the ball for B K Bajoria returning with figures of 1/13 in 2 overs.
Vedhanth was named the player of the match.
