RBYF provides financial aid to martial arts team

NONGPOH, April 25: The Ri-Bhoi Youth Federation (RBYF) on Friday extended financial support to the Meghalaya Martial Arts Federation (MMAF) team currently participating in the 10th National Kung Fu Championship 2026 at USTM, Ri-Bhoi.
The championship, which commenced on Friday, features a contingent of around 40 male and female athletes from the state and is scheduled to conclude on Sunday.
The financial assistance was handed over in the presence of MMAF president Thomas Rongthaluh and general secretary Benison Shadap.
The RBYF was represented by general secretary Denis Syngkli and publicity secretary Wanpher S. Wahlang.
The MMAF has, meanwhile, expressed gratitude to RBYF president Bipul Thangkhiew for the timely assistance and cooperation extended to the team on short notice.
