Bhumi Pednekar manifested working with Akshay Kumar
In upcoming episode of quiz reality show Wheels of Fortune, actress Bhumi Pednekar recalled a childhood memory of manifesting working with Akshay Kumar. She shared that as a 10–12-year-old she once saw a film shoot near an under-construction building, where Akshay performed a bike stunt for the film Insaaf. Inspired, she decided to become an actor and hoped to work with him one day. Bhumi revealed that her wish eventually came true with Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017), a social comedy-drama directed by Shree Narayan Singh and backed by Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey. The film, also starring Anupam Kher, focused on sanitation issues inspired by Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and followed a man fighting societal norms to build a toilet for his wife. Rapper Badshah shared an emotional moment on social media after a group of young children sang his viral track Ladka Tera Deewana with full enthusiasm. In the video, around 10–12 kids are seen singing the song in perfect sync, leaving Badshah visibly moved as he crouched and enjoyed the performance. He later expressed his feelings, writing that some songs no longer belong to the artist but to the listeners, and thanked collaborators Manju Nautiyal Jaunpuri and Sirazee. The track has recently gone viral for its catchy hook and upbeat vibe. Badshah, known for hits like DJ Waley Babu and Kala Chashma, is one of India’s leading rappers. The American EDM duo The Chainsmokers met Malayalam superstar Mohanlal ahead of their Dallas show and described him as their “new friend.” The duo shared a photo on Instagram posing with Mohanlal, captioned, “Made a new friend before our show in Dallas,” which quickly gained attention online. The Chainsmokers, known for hits like Closer, Don’t Let Me Down, and Something Just Like This, are Grammy and AMA winners and were once the highest-paid DJs globally. Nicole Kidman hospitalised after filming pro-wrestling scene
Nicole Kidman was hospitalised after filming a physically demanding wrestling sequence for the Apple TV+ series Margo’s Got Money Troubles while suffering from the flu. Co-star Nick Offerman revealed she was initially expected to miss the shoot but surprised the crew by arriving later in the morning and completing all required scenes despite being visibly unwell. He praised her dedication, saying she ensured the production did not lose any footage and finished the work before being taken to hospital for an IV. Kidman, who plays wrestler Lace, said she was nervous about injury during filming but pushed through the intense action scenes. The series also stars Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer. (ANI)
