The 24th scientific conference cum general body meeting of the Meghalaya Medical Services Association will be held at the State Convention Centre on Friday. Health Minister Wailadmiki Shylla will be the chief guest.
Body found
A male body identified as Abdul Latil (51), son of Alal Uddin, and a resident of Ambari Part-lll, Rangguili, Goalpara, Assam, was found lying at Lumshnong Wahlarung East Jaintia Hills near a drain along the Highway NH-05, it was informed here on Wednesday. After observing all legal formalities, the body has been kept at Khliehriat Hospital morgue for identification and claim by the respective family members and relatives. The general public has been requested to come forward and provide any information about the deceased, his family members and relatives.
