Madrid, May 7: Spanish giant Barcelona could clinch the La Liga title on Sunday when they host arch-rivals Real Madrid in the season’s final Clasico at Camp Nou. Barcelona currently holds an 11-point lead over Real Madrid with only four matches remaining. A draw on Sunday would be enough for Hansi Flick’s side to secure the league title with three games still left to play.
Barcelona will be without young star Lamine Yamal and defender Andreas Christensen due to injuries, but Flick otherwise has most of his squad available. Real Madrid, meanwhile, continues to struggle with injuries. Ferland Mendy has joined Eder Militao, Rodrygo, Arda Guler, Dani Carvajal, and Thibaut Courtois on the sidelines, while Kylian Mbappe remains doubtful with a muscle injury, as reported by Xinhua.
