Team India Eyes Bahutule as Spin Bowling Coach

Mumbai, May 8: Former India spinner Sairaj Bahutule is likely to join the Indian men’s cricket team as spin bowling coach after the senior team management reportedly recommended his name to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), according to sources.
Bahutule, who is currently working as spin bowling coach with Punjab Kings in the ongoing Indian Premier League season, is expected to take up the role soon if the proposal receives final approval from the BCCI.The 53-year-old brings with him considerable coaching experience from the domestic circuit. Over the years, he has worked with teams such as Bengal and Kerala and also served as spin bowling coach of Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.A former India international, Bahutule represented the country in two Tests and eight One-Day Internationals.
