Emilia Clarke reveals she froze her eggs at 35

Emilia Clarke, known for Game of Thrones, revealed she froze her eggs at 35 as part of her plan to preserve the possibility of becoming a mother. Now 39, she said the decision came amid a difficult period marked by serious health issues, including two brain haemorrhages, and the death of her father. Speaking to The Times, Clarke described years of emotional and physical struggle, saying she felt unwell, overwhelmed, and inexperienced early in her career. Billy Joel distances from biopic Billy & Me, calls it misguided

Billy Joel has distanced himself from the upcoming biopic Billy & Me, stating he has not authorised the project and that it lacks rights to his life story and music catalogue. A representative for the singer said the filmmakers were informed as early as 2021 that they do not have approval or necessary rights, and warned that proceeding would be “legally and professionally misguided.” The film, directed by John Ottman, focuses on Joel’s early career through the perspective of his first manager Irwin Mazur and has secured rights from Mazur and Joel’s former drummer Jon Small. However, it will proceed without Joel’s involvement or music rights. Production is planned for later this year. (ANI)

Kylie Minogue has revealed in her Netflix documentary that she privately battled breast cancer for a second time in early 2021, more than 15 years after her first diagnosis in 2005. She said the illness was detected during a routine checkup and credited early detection for her recovery, adding that she is now well. Minogue explained she chose not to disclose the diagnosis at the time because she was emotionally unprepared and “just a shell of a person.” She continued working on music, including her successful 2023 track Padam Padam, while keeping her health struggles private. She later hinted at the experience in her song Story. The singer was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and declared cancer-free in 2006 after treatment. (ANI)
