National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), and the Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi, has jointly launched a programme for implementation of Societal Research Fellowship (SoRF) for women. The objective is to attract fresh M.Sc. and Ph.D. women scientists having a career break or unemployed, to undertake research with societal impact. NASI NER local chapter will organize a one-day sensitization workshop on “Technological Empowerment of women through the SoRF scheme of DST in collaboration with NASI” at NEHU on June 30 at 9:30 am in the NEHU Old Guest House Auditorium, NEHU Campus.
