HC directive on parking

SHILLONG: The High Court of Meghalaya has directed that no heavy vehicles shall be allowed to be parked at Police Bazar, Thana Road and Jail Road from 7 am till 10:30 pm.

The restriction will be imposed with immediate effect and any violation will amount to contempt of Court order for which legal action will be taken accordingly, East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police M. Kharkrang said on Tuesday.
