Over 300 benefit from Rotary’s health camp in Shillong locality

SHILLONG, May 30: The Rotary Club of Shillong on Saturday organised a multi-speciality health camp at SKK Vidya Bharati School, Mawbah, and provided medical services to a total of 317 residents.
During the health camp, a team of medical professionals, including Dr. Dawan Ohi Baum, Dr. Gokul A. Nair, Dr. Nari Walang, Dr. Jupirika Pyrbot, Dr. Abhijit Bhatia, Dr. Walam Kupar Khongwir, Dr. AK Das, Dr. Darles Thubru and Dr. KS Elangbam, provided consultations across various specialities.
In addition to the check-ups, awareness sessions were held on menstrual hygiene, general sanitation and personal health.
The programme was attended by Mawbah Rangbah Shnong Aresstone Thabah, Rotary Club president Chandana Das and School Management Committee president Dr. Santram Joshi.
Free medicines and refreshments were also distributed among the participants during the camp.
