SHILLONG, June 1: Along with the rest of the country, prices of non-domestic LPG cylinders in Meghalaya have been revised upward by Rs 53.50 with effect from Monday, while domestic LPG cylinder rates remain unchanged.
Speaking to The Shillong Times, Khasi Pnar Gas Agency proprietor RL Blah clarified that there has been no revision in domestic LPG cylinder prices for consumers in Shillong.
As per the revised rate list issued by Indian Oil Corporation Limited, the price of a 19-kg non-domestic commercial cylinder has been fixed at Rs 3,377, while the 47.5-kg cylinder will now cost Rs 8,437.
Under the Free Trade LPG (FTL) category, the 5-kg new connection has been priced at Rs 1,836.50, with refill costing Rs 892.50.
The 5-kg FTL POS new connection has been fixed at Rs 1,850.50, while refill charges are Rs 906.50.
The 5-kg FTL POS composite new connection will cost Rs 3,443.50, with refill priced at Rs 906.50.
Similarly, the 2-kg FTL POS new connection has been fixed at Rs 1,092.50, while refill charges stand at Rs 384.50.
The revised rates also list the 19-kg Nano Cut cylinder at Rs 3,526, the 19-kg XtraTeJ cylinder at Rs 3,399.50, and the 47.5-kg XtraTeJ cylinder at Rs 8,493.
