Shah, Nadda to visit state on Thursday

SHILLONG, June 1: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Health Minister J.P. Nadda are scheduled to visit Shillong on Thursday on a one-day official tour to attend a series of important engagements.
The Union Home Minister is expected to attend the 73rd Plenary Session of the North Eastern Council (NEC), likely to be held at the State Convention Centre here.
Shah is also likely to chair the Society Meeting of the North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) during his visit.
The Union Health Minister is expected to chair a Parliamentary Consultative Committee meeting and is likely to visit NEIGRIHMS.
Sources said Nadda will also attend the inauguration of the ARHI Hospital in Ri-Bhoi district in the presence of ARHI Hospital chairman and senior BJP leader, Alexander Laloo Hek.
