Cops manhandled

NONGSTOIN: Unidentified miscreants on Sunday night beat up two personnel of the 6th Battalion of Meghalaya Police at Langpih bordering with Iew Nokma. Two police personnel identified as John Wessly Lyngdoh and Newton John Nongbri were seriously injured in the attack. Both Lyngdoh and Nongbri were unarmed at the time of the incident. The duo was admitted to Nongstoin Civil Hospital and later was shifted to Shillong for better treatment.
