The agreement was formally signed by Shri Somit Joshi, Inspector General (Administration),

The signing ceremony was attended by Shri Rajesh Tikku, Deputy Inspector General
(Administration), Commandant Shankar Singh, Deputy Commandant Sunil Kumar, and other
senior officials of SSB.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Somit Joshi described the collaboration as a meaningful
initiative aimed at extending educational opportunities to the families of SSB personnel. He
stated that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting the aspirations of
serving and retired personnel and their dependents through access to quality higher education, according to a Press release.

Expressing his pride at the collaboration, Dr. D. N. Singh said, “It is a matter of immense
honour and privilege for our University to enter into this first-of-its-kind MoU with the
Sashastra Seema Bal. Through this partnership, we seek to recognize and support the
invaluable contributions of our defence personnel by ensuring that their families have access
to quality higher education opportunities.”
Under the MoU, RGU will introduce two dedicated scholarship categories—Royal Shaurya

As part of the agreement, SSB will facilitate the dissemination of information regarding the
scholarship schemes across its units, schools, and institutions, and assist in identifying and
forwarding eligible candidates for admission.

across diverse disciplines, including Science, Engineering, Management and Commerce,
