Master U.N. Shukla (centre), a pioneer of Taekwondo in Meghalaya, is felicitated during a special programme marking his 50 years of service to the sport at the Babu Mani Singh Gurung Auditorium in Shillong on June 7. The event, organised by the Meghalaya Taekwondo Sport Association and Taekwondo Institute of Meghalaya, also featured the Kukkiwon Black Belt Awarding Ceremony for 17 successful candidates from the state.
