Achievement

Tengjrang K Marak has been awarded PhD in Sociology from William Carey University, Shillong, for his research titled ‘Socio-Cultural Transformation of Garo Tribe in the North Garo Hills District of Meghalaya’, which he completed under the supervision of Prof (Dr) Gita Pyal, Head of the Department of Sociology, WCU. He is the son of Francis D Sangma and Hesdia K. Marak and a resident of Konapara village, Bajengdoba, North Garo Hills.
