Shillong, June 11: Residents of Nongkseh and football enthusiasts will come together on June 12 to felicitate Nongkseh Sports Social and Cultural Club and its players for winning the fifth edition of the Meghalaya State League (MSL) 2026.
The programme, organised by the Dorbar Shnong Raid Sawkur Nongkseh, will be held at the Nongkseh Football Ground from 6 pm onwards.
Besides honouring the championship-winning team and its players, the event will also recognise members of the club’s coaching staff for their contribution to the historic achievement.
Several dignitaries, including representatives of the Meghalaya Football Association (MFA), local leaders and community members, are expected to attend the function.
