Netaji Admirers of Shillong will pay tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at his statue in the State Central Library premises at 10 am on Friday. The programme marks the approaching centenary of Netaji’s first visit to Shillong. He first arrived in the city on June 12, 1927, and stayed at Kelsall Lodge in Oakland. Meanwhile, organisers have requested all admirers of Netaji to join the tribute programme.
