The Michael Jackson biopic Michael has become the highest-grossing music biopic of all time, overtaking Bohemian Rhapsody at the global box office. According to Deadline, the film has earned USD 911.9 million worldwide since its theatrical release on April 24, surpassing the lifetime global total of Bohemian Rhapsody, which earned USD 910.9 million. The film had earlier overtaken the 2022 Elvis Presley biopic Elvis before moving past the Freddie Mercury-based Bohemian Rhapsody to claim the top spot among music biopics. In addition to its worldwide success, Michael has also become the highest-grossing biopic ever at the domestic box office. The film’s latest achievement adds another milestone for producer Graham King, who also produced the Oscar-winning Bohemian Rhapsody. Michael is currently playing in theatres worldwide. (ANI)
Sunny Deol, Akshaye Khanna’s Ikka to premiere on July 10
Netflix’s courtroom drama Ikka, starring Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna, will make its debut on July 10, the OTT platform announced on Saturday. Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, the film reunites the two actors for the first time in nearly three decades. They were last seen together in J P Dutta’s 1997 war film Border. In Ikka, Deol plays a celebrated lawyer forced to defend a man from his past, portrayed by Khanna, in a case that puts his principles and family under pressure. The film marks Deol’s streaming debut and his return to the courtroom after 33 years — he last played a lawyer in the 1993 film Damini. (PTI)

Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds was determined not to miss the FIFA World Cup match, revealing that the long journey involving ‘planes, trains, and automobiles’ was completely worth. The Deadpool and Wolverine star shared a handful of images of his travel and then a slew of pictures of him from the Toronto Stadium. The actor also shared that the entire nation turned up in full force to create what he described as one of the “greatest atmospheres the sport has ever seen”. He expressed his pride in Team Canada as he wrote in the caption: “I was not gonna miss this match. Planes, trains, automobiles to get here but completely worth it. Toronto showed up.
