New Delhi, June 21: Virat Kohli has firmly ruled out a return to Test cricket, saying he would rather undersell his newly launched shoe than come back to the longest format.
The former India captain, who retired from Tests last year after scoring 9,230 runs, made the remark in jest during the One8 global premiere when asked if he would consider a comeback to boost the sales of a red-coloured shoe inspired by his Test career.
“I would rather undersell. I am done with it (Test cricket),” Kohli said, drawing laughter from the audience.
Kohli also reflected on the never-give-up attitude that has defined his career throughout his illustrous career, citing his match-winning knock against Pakistan at the 2022 T20 World Cup in Melbourne.
“I’ve never stopped believing until the very end,” he said. (PTI)
