Sweetty Queen Lyngdoh Mawlong has been awarded PhD by the North-Eastern Hill University for her thesis ‘Hima Khyrim: A Historical Study (from Pre-Colonial Times to 1972)’, which she completed under the supervision of Prof Aparna Mathur. She is the daughter of Larishisha Lyngdoh Mawlong and Austronaut Thabah.
