Riiohlang Dhar to officiate at FIFA U-20 Women’s WC

Shillong, June 26: Meghalaya’s Riiohlang Dhar has been selected as a match official for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2026, scheduled to be held in Poland in September.
The appointment was announced by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) through its official social media platforms on Thursday.A FIFA-qualified assistant referee, Riiohlang will be officiating at her second FIFA tournament after making her World Cup debut at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic in 2024.Congratulating her on the achievement, the AIFF described Riiohlang as an official who “continues to be an inspiration for the next generation of Indian match officials.”
Over the years, Riiohlang has built an impressive international officiating career. Besides the U-17 Women’s World Cup, she was appointed as a match official for the AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup in Indonesia in 2024.
