TURA, June 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the passing of Alpana N. Marak, mother of Tura MDC and BJP leader Bernard N. Marak.
In a condolence letter dated June 25 and addressed to Marak, the Prime Minister wrote: “The news of the passing away of your mother, Alpana N. Marak Ji, has left me with a deep sense of grief and sadness. The loss of a mother is an irreparable one. It is said that nothing in this world compares to the tenderness of a mother’s heart and Alpana N. Marak Ji embodied that truth wholly for the family.”
Modi further stated, “Though she may no longer be with us in person, her presence will continue to live on in cherished memories. She will always be remembered with profound affection and gratitude by everyone whose life she touched. In this incredibly difficult and painful time for you, I offer my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies. May you be blessed with the fortitude to bear this grievous loss.”
