Shah Rukh Khan once recalled a humorous and slightly awkward fan encounter in which he was mistaken for actor Akshay Kumar. Speaking on Sajid Khan’s talk show Yaaron Ki Baraat, SRK shared that the incident took place during the shooting of Pardes, when he was returning from New York in a hurry due to a personal emergency, as his wife Gauri Khan had suffered a miscarriage.
He said he was already stressed and struggling with a broken bag handle when a fan repeatedly followed him at the airport, asking for a photo and autograph. Despite his rush, he eventually stopped and spoke to her after check-in. The fan enthusiastically declared her admiration but ended up confusing him by saying, “Akshay, I love you,” mistaking him for Akshay Kumar. SRK said the moment left him both surprised and amused.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in King, directed by Siddharth Anand.
The film is scheduled for release on December 24, 2026, and is being promoted as a high-octane action drama featuring SRK in a darker, more intense role. (IANS)
