Warner Bros has delayed the release of Matt Reeves’ superhero sequel The Batman Part II for a second time, with the Robert Pattinson-starrer now set to arrive in theatres on February 18, 2028. The film, which was earlier scheduled to release on October 1, 2027, will now open nearly six years after the first The Batman debuted in March 2022. Reeves announced the new release date on Thursday by sharing the first camera test footage from the film, offering audiences their first look at Pattinson reprising his role as the Caped Crusader. Prabhas-starrer Fauzi to hit theatres on December 3
Telugu superstar Prabhas on Wednesday announced that his upcoming historical drama Fauzi will release in theatres worldwide on December 3. The 46-year-old actor shared the release date on Instagram along with a new poster of the film. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Fauzi is billed as a historical fiction drama centred on a soldier. The newly unveiled poster shows Prabhas in a blood-soaked avatar, perched atop a rock with bodies lying around him as he clutches a gun. Featuring the tagline, A Battalion Who Fights Alone, the artwork teases an action-packed war drama centred on courage, sacrifice and rebellion. (PTI)
First look of Robert Pattinson in The Batman Part II revealed
Director Matt Reeves has shared the first look at Robert Pattinson’s return as the Caped Crusader in The Batman Part II, with the highly anticipated sequel now scheduled to arrive in theatres on February 18, 2028. Reeves shared a teaser of the upcoming DC Studios film on Wednesday (local time) through a social media post, featuring Pattinson dressed in the Batman suit. The short video opens with dramatic music and shows Batman’s back at the centre of the frame as rain falls around him. Actor Tamannaah Bhatia has started shooting for her upcoming film Ragini 3, the latest installment in the horror franchise, in London. The film, directed by Shashanka Ghosh, is slated for a theatrical release in 2027, the makers said in a statement. Billed as a date night horror entertainer, Ragini 3 is expected to blend horror, romance and comedy while taking the franchise in a new direction. Xolo Mariduena to return as Blue Beetle in Superman sequel
Actor Xolo Mariduena is set to reprise his role as Jaime Reyes aka Blue Beetle in James Gunn‘s upcoming Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow. According to Deadline, the film will mark Mariduena’s first appearance as the DC Comics superhero since the 2023 standalone movie Blue Beetle, directed by Angel Manuel Soto. In that film, the Cobra Kai alum played Jaime Reyes, a recent college graduate whose life changes after an alien scarab grants him extraordinary powers. (PTI)
