WJDSA honours former DSO

Jowai, July 18: The West Jaintia District Sports Association (WJDSA) on Friday felicitated former West Jaintia Hills District Sports Officer (DSO) Khroobok Passah in recognition of his contribution to the development and promotion of sports in the district. Passah is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Sports and Youth Affairs, Meghalaya.
Addressing the gathering, Passah reflected on his tenure after taking charge as District Sports Officer in 2020. He noted the district’s progress in football, highlighting that three schools from West Jaintia Hills qualified to represent Meghalaya at the prestigious Subroto Mukherjee Cup.
