MIAMI, July 21:Social media influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate, remain in U.S. federal custody in Miami following their arrest on July 18. The arrests follow an announcement from the UK’s Crown Prosecution Service authorising 38 new criminal charges against them. The counts stem from an investigation conducted by Bedfordshire Police involving four additional alleged victims, raising the overall number of UK charges against them to 59 across seven complainants.
Under the updated indictment, Andrew Tate faces 42 individual charges, including rape, arranging or facilitating human trafficking, assault causing bodily harm, 19 counts involving indecent images of a child and extreme pornography. He allegedly raped two women in England in 2014 and 2015, both allegedly choked and subjected to severe physical trauma.
Tristan Tate faces 17 counts, including rape, sexual assault, and trafficking-related offenses. Unsealed court filings allege he repeatedly assaulted a woman between 2012 and 2013, choking her until she lost consciousness and inflicting serious injuries. British authorities stated that the charges are supported by witness testimony, electronic communications, and photographic evidence. (Agencies)
