SHILLONG: The internationally acclaimed Shillong Chamber Choir (SCC), winners of India’s Got Talent – Season 2, led by its mentor Neil Nongkynrih has once again brought laurels to the State and the North East region by being awarded the Kalabaz of the Year title at the Big TV Awards 2011.
Siddharth Basu, CEO, Big Synergy received the award on behalf of the Shillong Chamber Choir which is currently on a tour of North America.
Big TV Awards 2011 is a show wherein celebrities are awarded for their contributions to the television industry.
The award ceremony will be aired on Sunday on Star Plus channel from 7 pm onwards.
One of the main attractions of the event was Amitabh Bachchan who attended the function to receive the award for Shakshiyat of the Year for the popular Kaun Banega Crorepati-4.
