JOWAI: The headman of Matdein village in Jaintia Hills was arrested along with another accused on Sunday morning in connection with a twin murder case at Barato village last month.
The headman, Arphi Sariang was picked up along with Markus War of Barato village on charges of murdering a pregnant woman (29) and her brother (43) inside the victims’ vehicle on July 23.
