30 contestants qualify for next round of dance contest

SHILLONG: 30 children have been selected for the next round of the first-of-its-kind talent hunt show ‘Dance Meghalaya Dance Little Champ’ during the mega audition held in the city on August 9.

Organized by the All Jaintia Dancers’ Association, the top-30 contestants will be performing at the Don Bosco Youth Centre on August 23 at 1 pm.

All the 30 contestants are school-going children aged below 15 years.

Coordinator of the competition, Simi Khongtiang, informed that 20 contestants would be selected for the next round of 20 from among whom the top ten finalists would be selected in the next round.

The top-20 round would be held on September 6 while the grand finale has been scheduled on October 4.
