Humour society formed in city

SHILLONG: A new non-government voluntary organisation of fun, jest and humour lovers was formed in Shillong on Monday. Named Kam Danda u Rangdajied (Society of ‘funstar’ actors), the organisation was formed with the aim of using humour, jest, fun and frolic as an instrument for fostering camaraderie, brotherly, sisterly and neighbourly feelings and to bring about a spirit of unity among the different sections of the society.

The first office bearers of the society include Romeo Phira Rani (president), Paul B. Synrem (vice-president), Philip Marwein (Secretary), besides other office bearers and executive members.
